Elizabeth is a Ph.D student in the Mechanical Engineering program within the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Her work currently focuses on characterizing the behavior of porcine tissue and novel viscoelastic materials that are undergoing local high-rate deformations through the use of shear plate and inertial microcaviation rheology.

Elizabeth joined the Franck Lab as a PhD student in 2020. She currently holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biology from the Illinois Institute of Technology (2020) and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2022).
